In the spirit of the holiday, I wanted to know what everyone's favourite Halloween monster/cryptid/mythical creature is

For me, nothing beats the good old-fashioned werewolf

Amaroq: Giant Arctic Wolf Demon in Inuit folklore, said to have the strength to overpower three bear with his tail alone and is capable of riping out its victim's souls.

Kitsune: Nine-tailed fox demon in Easter Asian folklores who can shapeshift and create illusions to trick its victims. Kitsunes with enough wisdom and experience rival gods in power. One of them, Tamamo no Mae, assassinated the emperor of Japan.

Ochimusha: Spirit of a fallen samurai capable of defeating entire armies of the living. Those killed by the ochimusha have their spirits stolen and must serve him for eternity as his retainers.
