Quote:With there similar masses, overlapping sizes and virtually identical hunting exploits-Leopards
are not assured to dominate cougars; don't know how you came to such a decisive conclusion.
Cougars means of  killing, which can include skull biting in addition to neck breaking, would
surely enable it to overcome a Hyena, & possibly even the Sun bear.

Animal observation and thinking creates personal conviction. You can say whatever you want.

It is possible that the wolf was stronger than i think. But he belongs to the canids.

Okay, but this utterly vague response doesn't actually mean anything. So b/c you observe
wildlife and can formulate thoughts about them, the degree of refinement & basis of
your reasoning process is a non issue?

It's largely a disservice to the forum, to be so adamant about an opinion, w/o being able
to expound upon your stance, to give off any impression that you aren't just
biased for or against certain creatures, beyond a mere superficial appraisal.

"you can say whatever you want": but w/o objective support-there isn't any
reason for anyone ingesting your expressions to consider them valid.

"Personal conviction"...sounds more like "extreme bias" .

I stopped trusting objective support. She may be misleading. TV propaganda is also an "objective support". Your thinking is the most right choice in this world of illusions and lies.

Stops at leopard or bear.

Gets wrecked by jaguar.

Stops at Leopard. Leopard may have the edge in grappling.

Quote:Scoring intermediate or low on PC2 are carnivorans that use their forelimbs to subdue, manipulate or excavate food items

Leopard PC2 value at 1.072

Cougar PC2 value at 1.633

That difference is so minuscule it wouldn’t really affect anything tbh.

That's why the match stops there. It may be close, but with a slight edge for Leopard.
