I've been checking out the Persian leopards lately and I have to say, these are really one of the largest subspecies. I compare it to the Pantanal jaguars, where the average weight is higher than any other subspecies.

"A young male from northern Iran weighed 64 kg (141 lb)." (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_leopard). The average weight for an African male leopard is about that weight...

I don't like this picture but it shows how big he is compared to a human.
