It definitely is a cat and a large one. the small flanges initially let me rule out most machairodonts, but the incissors are much more massive than you would expect from Panthera. So I guess Homotherium or Xenosmilus, more leaning to Xenosmilus due to the massive appearance.

Is that Titanophoneus? At first glance it resembles a gorgonopsid, but I feel as if the length from the postorbital region down to the front end of the skull is straighter than in gorgonopsids (or maybe I haven't looked at a gorgonopsid skull recently). It just sort of rung the Titanophoneus bell.
