Hmm... tough one there Taipan, I'm not gonna try and cheat here (I assume a few of you did!), and I'll say from looking at those sabers, they don't appear as long as the ones Smilodon would usually possess. But if I recall correctly, a close relative, Homotherium had some sabers, right? If so, I'll place my bets there.

...please believe me on that top part, cheating just ruins the fun.

Right off the bat, that skeleton reminded me of Megalania... But upon a closer look, a thick skull along with some thick teeth indicates that it isn't a varanid, most likely a rauisuchian? If so, I'll say Prestosuchus.

Could also be a borophagine skull (hyena-like canids), such as Borophagus.
